A police dog managed to sniff out two suspects following an attempted burglary in Rochdale - including one with a machete.
The good boy, called Eddie, was on the hunt for a group involved in the incident on Fairlands Street in the early hours of this morning (October 25).
One suspect was soon stopped by officers, but a 30-minute search of Balderstone Park followed to track down the others.
And not one to give up on a lead, Eddie found two other teenagers, including a 14-year-old boy who was in possession of a machete and a knife.
All three suspects - who were male and aged 14, 16 and 18 - were arrested and remain in custody for questioning.
Police are continuing with their enquiries, and anyone with information about the attempted burglary is urged to contact Greater Manchester Police.
