Four people have been injured after a collision between a school bus and at least three parked vehicles on Chapel Rd in Flat Bush, Auckland.
One seriously injured person has been taken to Middlemore Hospital and three other people had been treated at the scene, a St John Ambulance spokeswoman says.
Two of the three had minor injuries, and the third was moderately injured.
Students from Howick College were on the HO5 and HO11 Murphy's bus, the school confirmed on its website. It says none were injured.
A man who owns one of the cars, Maveen Prasad, says it was parked when it was hit from behind by the out-of-control bus.
The crash happened between Michael Jones Drive and Fusion Rd at 3.50pm.

Police diverted traffic around the collision and a large section of Chapel Rd has been closed.
Traffic is bumper to bumper down the Michael Jones Drive detour, making the rush-hour commute home even longer.
