Police dismantle 'industrial scale' cannabis farm in Parkhead after drugs bust

Police are dismantling an 'industrial scale' sized cannabis farm after a drugs bust in Parkhead.

Officers at the Glasgow North East division posted photos of the large cannabis farm that had been discovered in a warehouse.

The force swooped on the unit on Friday, June 18, the Daily Record reports.

Images show multiple cannabis plants bunched together in the warehouse.

Officers also shared pictures of inside the property where ventilated pipes can be seen strung across the roof.

In a statement on Twitter, Glasgow North East division wrote: "Glasgow police dismantled an industrial scale cannabis cultivation in the Parkhead area today.

"In addition to risk of fire such cultivations harm our community by feeding organised crime, forced labour and human trafficking. Please report any concerns/suspicions."
