Police cordon off row of houses in Salford with forensic officers at scene

Police and forensic officers descended on a row of houses in Salford tonight.

A large cordon was in place surrounding properties on Lissadel Street from around 5pm.

At least one police car and one van were parked on the road.

Images taken from the scene also show a CSI van at the cordon.

Forensic officers were at the scene, with one officer pictured holding an evidence bag.

The M.E.N have contacted Greater Manchester Police for a comment, but no details have been released at this stage.
