Police cordon off roads near retail park after 'serious assault' in Radford

Police are investigating reports of a 'serious assault' at a retail park in Radford.

They were called to Castle Retail Park in Radford shortly after 7.10pm today, February 19.

A number of police officers and vehicles are in the area and a cordon remains in place as officers begin their work to understand the circumstances surrounding the assault.

No arrests have been made in connection with the incident so far.

Prospect Street and, at the back of the retail park, Churchfield Lane, have been closed as officers continue their inquiries.

Glentworth Road is also cordoned off however the retail park is not affected by the closures.

A spokesman said: "Anyone who witnessed the incident, who believes they may have captured the assault on dash-cam footage or has any information about those responsible is asked to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 757 of 19 February 2020."
