Police have cordoned off an area of parkland near a County Durham nightclub following an incident.
Officers were seen guarding a cordon on Bede Way, Peterlee, close to Vibe nightclub on Monday morning.
Pictures from the scene show a single police car parked outside the cordon, near the junction of Bede Way and Burnhope Way.

The nature of the incident is not yet know.
Durham Constabulary has been approached for comment.
