Police have cordoned off a road near Elder Park this evening due to an ongoing incident.
One source from the scene told the Daily Record that Drive Road was on 'lock down' after officers arrived at the scene at around 6pm.
Pictures show police tape and forensic markers along the road as officers stood outside two home addresses.
Twitter user @sneddon04 tweeted: "Looks like some trouble up in Govan. Police cordon just across from Elder Park."
A Police Scotland spokesperson confirmed that police are in attendance but could not confirm the nature of the incident.
They said: “Police are responding to an ongoing incident in the area and inquiries are ongoing."
