Police cordon in place after woman attacked at pub in Salford

A woman has been taken to hospital after being attacked at a pub in Salford.

Police were called to a pub on Holland Street to reports that a woman had been assaulted at around 11.50pm on Saturday night (July 18).

A 44-year-old woman was taken to hospital from the scene.

She suffered head injuries, police said.

The woman remains in a stable condition.

No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.

A police cordon is in place outside The B'Hive Inn on Holland Street this morning (Sunday).

The street has been taped off and several police vehicles are at the scene.

A GMP statement read: "Shortly after 11.50pm on Saturday 18 July 2020, police were called to a pub on Holland Street in Salford to reports that a woman had been assaulted.

"Officers attended and a 44-year-old woman was taken to hospital with head injuries. She remains in a stable condition.

"No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing."
