Police are still searching for a Bury man who disappeared from home a week ago.
John Woodman has not been seen since leaving Spring Vale Drive, in Tottington, late on Friday night.
Specialist underwater search teams have been drafted in to help and have spent six days scouring the Wayoh Reservoir, in Edgworth, Bolton, close to where the 56-year-old's car was found.
He left his mobile phone and bank card behind but the vehicle, a blue Ford Galaxy, was found at the Black Bull Inn, less than 200 yards from the water's edge.
Police enrolled the help of the North West Underwater Search Unit and Bolton's Mountain Rescue Team to aid with the hunt for Mr Woodman.
Officers from the search unit have been regularly diving into the reservoir and using Radar to try and find any clues as to where he might be.
Bury Chief Inspector Jane Morgan has also issued an appeal directly to the missing man asking him to contact the police.
“John’s family and ourselves are understandably concerned for him so we would like to appeal directly to John or anyone else with information about his whereabouts to contact us as soon as possible," she said.
"Members of the public may have seen teams of specialist officers carrying out extensive enquiries and searches.
"Whilst these are ongoing, I would encourage anyone who is out and about to contact police without delay if they see or hear anything which may assist us.”
Mr Woodman is described as being approximately 6ft 2in tall and of a medium build.
He may be wearing a yellow t-shirt, blue tracksuit bottoms and trainers.
