Possible sightings and CCTV matching the 71-year-old's description show that Mr Hurley was in the Aberporth area around 5am - 7am on June 20th.

Dyfed-Powys Police's inspector Kaamil Garnie said: "Following the missing person appeal issued yesterday, we have received reports of possible sightings and CCTV of a person matching the description of Mr Hurley in the Aberporth area between 5am and 7am on Saturday morning, 20th June."

"I am appealing to anyone who may have been in the Aberporth area between the times mentioned to contact police."

"Anyone who has seen Mr Hurley, or anyone who has information on his whereabouts, is asked to contact police by phoning 101."

Officers have been making house-to-house inquiries in the Aberporth area today and searches have also been carried along the coastal path.

Similar searches were carried out at the weekend involving Cardigan RNLI crews as well as a police helicopter.
