A teenager who was believed to have travelled to Edinburgh after going missing has been traced safe and well.
David Bivol, from Northampton, was believed to be near the city wild camping and Scottish police assisted in the search for him.
The 16-year-old hadn't been see since Wednesday, November 6.
His mum Aliona made a poignant post on the Missing People Scotland Facebook page yesterday in a bid to track down.
She said: "Please help to find my missing 16 years old son. He is missing for six days now.
"It's a belief that he may adventure survival camping in Scotland.
"Please watch out for him. Help to bring my baby home
Police confirmed this morning David had been found.
A spokesperson said: "Police Scotland can confirm that David Bivol has been traced safe and well.
"The public are thanked for their assistance in this matter."
