Police confirm missing Falkirk teen and mum found safe and well

Missing Falkirk teenager and mum found safe and well four days after vanishing .

Alex Craig's worried family reported her missing after she was last seen in the town's Callendar Park area shortly before 2pm on Wednesday, August 28.

The 15-year-old's dad Andy Craig told the Daily Record this morning that her mum Eleanor Herriot had also been missing since Wednesday.

Cops have now confirmed the teenager has been traced.

Forth Valley Police tweeted: "Alex Craig traced.

"We are pleased to confirm that Alex Craig was traced safe and well in the Langlees area of Falkirk at 10am this morning.

"Thanks to everyone who shared our appeal."
