Police confirm missing Ardrossan man traced safe and well

A 38-year-old missing Ardrossan man was traced safe and well over the weekend.

Joshua Robert Holland – known as Robert – has been found after a police search to find him was launched when he disappeared on Tuesday, February 16.

Family and friends became concerned after Robert was last seen walking in Glasgow Street in the North Ayrshire town at around 1pm and had not been in contact with anyone.

Ayrshire Police Division shared the good news, that Robert had been safely found, on its Facebook page and thanked the public for their help.

A supporting statement said: “Police Scotland can confirm that Joshua Robert Holland, missing from Ardrossan, has been traced safe and well over the weekend.

“We would like to thank the public for their assistance during our enquires.”
