A man's body has been found on Jacob's Wells Road, near Clifton Triangle, in Bristol.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Constabulary said: "We were called at around 6.30am today (Wednesday, November 20) after a man's body was found off Clifton Triangle in Bristol.
"His death is being treated as unexplained but not suspicious.
"We're making every effort to identify him and locate his next of kin as soon as possible."
Jacob's Wells Road was closed earlier this morning due to this incident.
However, Travelwest has now confirmed that the road has now reopened.
There was heavy congestion around the city centre this morning as drivers looked for alternative routes.
