Police 'concerned' over boy, 16, who has been missing for over a week

Police are appealing for help to find a missing teenager from Salford.

Samuel Olabisi was last seen in Manchester City Centre last Tuesday (January 6) after getting on a tram in Piccadilly Gardens just before 3.40pm.

Officers say they are becoming increasingly concerned about the 16-year-old and want to make sure he is 'safe and well'.

Sam is described as a black male who is 170cm (5 foot 6 inches) tall.

He was wearing a waist length blue puffa/padded style jacket, a grey zip-up top, black joggers and black trainers with a white sole at the time he was last seen, police say.

Greater Manchester Police posted the appeal on their Facebook page asking anyone with information about Sam’s whereabouts to contact CID at Swinton Police Station on 0161 856 5168 or to call 101.
