Police 'concerned' for safety of missing Kilmarnock man last seen on the M77

Police say they're becoming increasingly concerned for the safety and welfare of a missing Kilmarnock man.

Jackson Mason was last seen near the slip road on the M77 southbound carriageway near to the Fenwick Hotel between 4pm and 4.30pm on Saturday.

Officials say he's not been seen or heard from since and there is now growing concern for his safety and welfare.

He is described as being 6ft tall, of medium build with brown hair and heavy facial hair growth.

At the time he went missing, he is believed to have been wearing, grey shorts and a shiny black bubble jacket and white training shoes.

Inspector Sheryl Syme of Kilmarnock police station said: “Along with his family, we are becoming increasingly concerned for Jackson’s welfare and are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen him.

"We would urge anyone who may have Jackson to contact us. Similarly, if Jackson is reading this, please let us know you are safe and well.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 0662 of Sunday, 20 December 2020.
