Police concerned for safety of missing Ilkeston man

Police have issued an appeal for help from the public to find a man who is missing. Derbyshire Police issued a statement saying officers are concerned for his safety.

A spokesperson for the police said: "Officers are growing increasingly concerned for the safety of a man missing from his home in Ilkeston. Ashley was last heard from just after midnight on Saturday 6 May.

"The 38-year-old is 5ft 8ins tall and has short light brown hair along with a goatee beard. He was last seen wearing a blue bomber jacket, blue jeans, and trainers."

The force has not shared details of Ashley's surname.

Anyone who sees Ashley, or who knows where he might be can contact officers, quoting reference 25 of 6 May by calling 101. or online on Derbyshire Police's website.
