Police concerned for missing Scots woman's welfare as search launched

Police are concerned for the welfare of a missing Scots woman as a search is launched.

Karen Smith, 66, was last seen in the Dunning and Forteviot area at midday on Friday, October 7 but may also have travelled to Craigie, Perth.

Karen is described as 5ft4in with a slim build, long brown hair, brown eyes.

She was wearing a blue anorak, which she is wearing in the picture released by police, and black trousers.

Inspector David Gibson said “We are becoming increasingly concerned for welfare of this female and are keen to trace her as soon as possible”.

“If you have any information about her identity or whereabouts, please contact Police as soon as possible on 101 quoting incident 3082 of 7th October 2022.
