Police concerned for missing Kilmarnock man who vanished from town

Police have launched an appeal to trace a missing Kilmarnock man last seen yesterday.

Officers say they have reason to be concerned about the welfare of Connor Allison.

The 23-year-old was reported missing during the evening of Tuesday, September 24, although officers are currently carrying out enquiries into a sighting of him in the Town Centre area of Kilmarnock around 4pm this evening.

He is described as being around 5ft 11in tall and of medium build with short brown hair and facial hair.

When last seen he was wearing a black North Face skip cap, a green jumper and black shorts.

Sergeant Steven Presslie said: "We have reason to be concerned about Connor's welfare and would urge anyone who has information which could help trace him to come forward as soon as possible.

"Anyone who can help can contact Police Scotland by calling 101, quoting reference 3291 of September 24."
