Police concerned for man, 72, who went missing from Maid Marian Way

Police are concerned for the safety of a man who has gone missing from the Maid Marian Way area of Nottingham.

George Gamble, 72, was last seen on the city centre road at around 4pm on Monday (July 13) and Nottinghamshire Police have launched an appeal to locate him.

It is understood he was last seen wearing blue jeans, blue trainers and a brown Army-style jacket. He is around 5ft 7ins.

A spokesperson for Nottinghamshire Police said: "Officers are concerned for his safety after he was reported missing from the Maid Marian Way area of Nottingham at around 4pm on Monday, July 13.

"George is described as white, of slim to medium build and is around 5ft 7ins tall.

"He is described as having short grey hair and was last seen wearing blue jeans, blue trainers and a brown Army-style jacket. George also wears glasses and is unshaven.

"If you have seen George or have any information about his whereabouts, please contact Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 519 of July 13, 2020."
