Cops have closed off a stretch of road near to Ibrox amid an ongoing incident in Glasgow .
A Police Scotland tweet at 5.29pm today warned that the area between Southcroft Street and Burndyke Court on Govan Road is currently not accessible to drivers.
Diversions have been put in place and officers are warning the public to avoid the area.

The incident could affect traffic in the area following Rangers' league clash with Hibs this afternoon.
Police Scotland said: "Due to an ongoing police incident Govan Road, Glasgow is currently closed between Southcroft Street and Burndyke Court.
"Local diversions are in place but please try to avoid the area."
