Police close Leeds road after 11 year old boy hit by car

An 11-year-old boy was hit by a car in Bramley.

West Yorkshire Police were called to Broad Lane this afternoon after the incident involving a Honda Jazz.

A police spokesman said the boy suffered minor injuries and was taken to Leeds General Infirmary to be checked over.

Some bus services were diverted away from Broad Lane, which was briefly closed, along Cockshott Lane, Raynville Road and Waterloo Lane in both directions after the collision at 2.42pm on Monday.

The incident happened between Waterloo Lane and Outgang Lane.
