Police close East Belfast dual carriageway due to 'ongoing incident'

Police have closed an East Belfast dual carriageway due to an ongoing incident.

The Knock Road dual carriageway has been closed in both directions this evening.

Diversions have been put in place at the Castlereagh Road, Glen Road and Knock Road and police are advising that drivers find alternative routes.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Motorists are advised of diversions at the Castlereagh Road, Glen Road and Knock Road, East Belfast due to an ongoing incident.

"Please seek an alternative route for journey."
