Police have been called to a suspected armed robbery in Academy Street and Exchange Street.
The Belfast City Centre streets are currently closed as police hold a scene following the report around 7.50am on Tuesday.
It is understood that police attended a report of an armed robbery of cash in transit van in the area.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "Enquiries are ongoing. There are no further details at present."
