About 4.45pm, the same woman allegedly shoulder-charged the 39-year-old woman when she was returning from the bar.

The woman fell and suffered bruising and soreness to her shoulder and chest.

On Wednesday, February 19, the injured woman attended Kurri Kurri Police Station and made an official report of the incident.

Following investigations, Hunter Valley Police District officers arrested and charged a 27-year-old woman with common assault on Thursday.

The woman was issued a future court attendance notice and a Provisional Apprehended Violence Order and will appear before Cessnock Local Court on Wednesday, April 15.
