Police chase speeding quad bike through Scots park leaving sunbathers stunned

Police chased a speeding quad bike through a Scots park leaving spectating sunbathers in shock.

The rogue biker was zooming across football pitches in Jedburgh, in the Scottish Borders when a police car gave chase.

Cops sped across the grassy lawn chasing the driver out of the park.

A group of sunbathers were left in stitches after capturing the chase on camera yesterday evening.

The video has raked up 114k thousand views on social media.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "We were called to football pitches near Eliot Park, Jedburgh at around 5.35pm yesterday.

They quickly recorded the scenes and posted them to social media raking in 114k thousand views. (Supplied)

"No chase or pursuit beyond the park.

"Enquiries are ongoing.

“No arrests were made.”
