Police have named a suspect after a man was seen walking down a street with a "gun".
It was reported a man was seen walking along Lower House Lane in Norris Green while holding what was described by police as a "suspected firearm" on Sunday, May 21. A man has since been arrested and charged on suspicion of possession of an imitation firearm in a public place.
Merseyside Police confirmed Michael Costello, 34, of Knighton Road, Norris Green, has been remanded into custody after being charged on suspicion of the offences.

The 34-year-old will appear in Liverpool Crown Court on Tuesday, June 20..
