Police charge man after body found in Aberdeen street

A man has been charged in connection with the death of a man in Aberdeen .

Officers had launched an investigation after the body of a 56-year-old was found in the Ruthrieston Crescent area at around 5:35am on Saturday morning. 

Police Scotland have now revealed that a 33-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death.

He is expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday 9 December.

Reports will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
