Police charge 31-year-old with murder over death of Keady baby Hunter McGleenon

A 31-year-old man arrested by police following the death of baby Hunter McGleenon has been charged with murder.

The 11-month-old Co Armagh tot died on Tuesday, November 26.

He is also facing charges of possessing an indecent image and illegally entering the UK.

Police said they were treating the baby's death as murder after a postmortem, which was carried out on Thursday.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Detectives investigating the murder of 11-month-old Hunter McGleenon in Keady on Tuesday, 26th November have charged a 31-year-old man with murder; possession of indecent photograph of a child and illegal entry to the UK.



"He is due to appear at Newry Magistrates Court tomorrow, Saturday, 30 November. As is normal procedure all charges will be reviewed by the PPS."
