A police car was left badly damaged after crashing while responding to a serious incident in Oldham.
The collision happened on Oldham Road, close to the junction with the M60 in Hollinwood, on the border with Failsworth, just after 10pm on Tuesday, April 13.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said the patrol car was responding to a 'grade one' call.
Grade One is the most serious category of incident which usually sees emergency service vehicles use their blue lights and sirens whilst responding.
Eyewitnesses said the airbags in the police car and the second car involved, understood to be a red Mazda, were deployed.

There was also a large amount of debris left in the road.
Further police patrols and paramedics were called to the scene.
And the road was closed travelling towards Oldham whilst emergency services dealt with aftermath.

GMP said three people were involved, two of whom were police officers.
However none were said to have been seriously injured.
The police car could be seen to have extensive damage to its front end.
There was also damage to the side of the Mazda.

No one has been arrested, it has been confirmed.
GMP said: "Police were called to Oldham Road in Failsworth just after 10pm on Tuesday 13 April to reports of a collision involving a police car that was responding to a grade one incident in Failsworth.
"Emergency services attended, there were no serious injuries, and no arrests have been made."
