A police car has been left on the pavement after a crash which has closed a major road. Emergency services remain at the scene of the accident in Rimrose Road, Bootle on Merseyside.
It appears to have been severely damaged in the incident. A black Audi also looks like it has been damaged in the crash which happened on Saturday morning.
According to the Liverpool Echo it is unknown if anyone has been hurt. The southbound carriageway of the road was closed but now, according to Inrix, it has reopened..
Pictures taken at the scene show a Matrix police car having gone onto the pavement where it remains. Merseyside Police and North West Ambulance Service are in attendance.
