Police car bonnet vandalised with offensive graffiti in Bristol

A police car was vandalised with offensive graffiti in Bristol.

Avon and Somerset Police are now appealing for information on the incident which happened on Saturday (May 29).

Officers say the vehicle, which was parked near Ashton Avenue Bridge in Bristol, was vandalised at night.

No information has been provided on what the offensive message was.

A Twitter post shared by Avon and Somerset Police said: "We're appealing for witnesses after damage was caused to a police car parked near Ashton Avenue Bridge in Bristol at around 9pm/9.30pm on Saturday.

"Offensive graffiti was sprayed onto the bonnet."

Anyone with information is asked to call 101 and give the reference number 5221118767.
