Police called to west end flat after sudden death of man

Police were called to a flat in the west end of Glasgow yesterday after the sudden death of a man.

Officers attended at Hayburn Crescent yesterday morning (Sunday 14) around 9.35am.

Emergency services also attended the scene throughout the day.

Police Scotland said a post mortem examination is due to be carried out and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.

They added that the death is not being treated as suspicious.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Around 9.35am on Sunday, February 14, 2021, police attended a report of a man having died within a flat in Hayburn Crescent, Glasgow.

“A post mortem examination will take place in due course to establish the exact cause of death which police are not treating as suspicious.

“A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
