Police called to Sneinton home after man collapsed outside intu Broadmarsh centre

Residents in Sneinton have reported seeing a large police presence outside a house for the past 24 hours.

Officers were called to Victoria Avenue, just off Sneinton Dale, during the afternoon on Thursday, June 25 and remain at the scene today (Friday, June 26).

A Nottinghamshire Police spokeswoman said "the scene is in relation to the Lister Gate incident", where a man collapsed outside the intu Broadmarsh shopping centre on Wednesday, June 24.

Police set up a cordon outside the shopping centre to preserve evidence and it remained in place throughout the morning of June 25.

The man was last known to be "in a serious condition" in hospital.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 769 of 24 June.
