A road was closed after police were called to reports of an injured man in Sherwood.
Officers were called to Magnus Road just before 1.45pm on Tuesday (September 17).
A Nottinghamshire Police spokesman said: "Our enquiries are ongoing as to how he established his injuries, including whether they were sustained in a road traffic collision, which are not believed to be life-threatening or life-altering."
Nottingham City Transport tweeted earlier this afternoon to say Edwards Lane, nearby, was temporarily closed.
Buses had been diverting and the road has re-opened.
