Police called to reports of indecent exposure at park in Sale

Police have been called to reports of a man indecently exposing himself at a park in Sale as eyewitnesses said children were nearby at the time of the incident.

Witnesses who saw the man in Woodheys Park, on Kenmore Road, at around 6.15pm on Wednesday, July 8 are urged to contact Greater Manchester Police.

Onlookers said children were in the park at the time.

It is understood the incident took place in a wooded area and the man reportedly exposed his genitals.

Greater Manchester Police continue to investigate.

There have been no reports of any arrests and no description of the man has yet been issued.

Any witnesses or anyone with further information is asked to contact GMP.

A spokeswoman for the Greater Manchester force said: "We were called at 6.15pm to reports of indecent exposure at Woodheys Park.

"Enquiries are ongoing."
