Police called to report man had 'assaulted 2 people with an umbrella' in Nottingham

Emergency services were called to a Nottingham road to reports of a man assaulting two other people - with an umbrella.

Nottinghamshire Police was called to Bracebridge Drive in Bilborough at around 3.45pm on Friday, January 29.

Police cars and an ambulance were spotted by eyewitnesses at the scene.

There were no reports of any serious injuries and the force are now appealing for witnesses.

Inspector Ben Lawrence, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Nottinghamshire Police was called to Bracebridge Drive in Bilborough at around 3.45pm today to a report of a man assaulting another man and a woman with an umbrella.

“No one was seriously injured in the incident and enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances.

“Anyone with any information is asked to contact Nottinghamshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 435 of 29 January 2021.”
