POLICE called out to a suspected firearm incident found the possible weapon was “a toy”.
Officers were called out to Mulben Place in the Crookston area of Glasgow on Saturday at around 1:15am.
But on arrival, police found that the reported firearm was “not a viable weapon”.
Instead, officers said it was a toy.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1.15am, on Saturday police received a report of the discovery of a possible firearm in the Mulben Place area of Glasgow.
“The item was recovered for examination which established it was a toy and not a viable weapon.”
