Police called to out of control 18th birthday party after 150 people turn up

Police were called to an out of control 18th birthday party after 150 people showed up.

Officers and a dog unit went to Clittaford Road in Southway, Plymouth, at about 10pm.

Residents called police after fighting broke out in the street, reports Plymouth Live .

The force incident manager for Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed that officers found a large number of the youths at the event were 'in drink'.

They were at the scene for over an hour last night as they worked to disperse the party guests.

No arrests have been made but those involved were warned that if they didn't leave police would be forced to make arrests.

It is not known if anyone is injured as a result of the party.
