Police were called to Burnbank yesterday (Thursday, June 20) after a man was assaulted.
At around 4.10pm, officers attended the Burnbank Centre following reports that a man had been assaulted to the head.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Police were called to an incident in Burnbank Centre at 4.10pm on Thursday, June 20, following reports of a man being injured.
“Officers attended and the man was taken to Hairmyres Hospital for minor injuries to his ear.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances around this incident.”
