Police called to Bristol home after man dies

Police were called to a Stockwood home after a man died.

Officers were seen at a property in Dutton Road last Thursday (March 11).

After a resident of the area contacted Bristol Live about the police presence, we asked the force for details on the incident.

An Avon and Somerset police spokeswoman said: "Police attended an address in Dutton Road, Stockwood, on Thursday after a call came in just before 1pm reporting a concern for the welfare of the occupant.

"Officers attended and forced entry to the address where they found that sadly a man had died.
