Police called to Balmaha to tackle 'inconsiderate parking' after local bus reported stuck

Police have been called to Balmaha to tackle 'inconsiderate parking' after a local bus became stuck.

Glasgow Live have reported on a number of similar stories in the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park throughout lockdown - at the beginning of this month, 70 drivers were issues with fines over 'illegal and dangerous' parking in the area.

The bus has been unable to safely leave the car park because of the obstruction.

Responding to a Garelochhead Coaches Tweet confirming the service had been disrupted this afternoon, Loch Lomond and The Trossachs Park staff called for visitors to respect the area, commenting: "The National Park has plenty of fantastic places to explore, so if parking is busy or full at your chosen destination then be flexible with your plans and head to another location."
