The body of a man has been found in a flat in Aberdeen.
Emergency services were called to an address in Jamaica Street on Monday night following the discovery of the 44-year-old's body.
The death is being treated as unexplained.
Officers are waiting for the results of the post-mortem examination.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We can confirm that the body of a man was found at an address in Jamaica Street in Aberdeen on Monday.
"The man was 44-years-old.
“The death is being treated as unexplained pending the results of a post-mortem examination.”
