Emergency services were called to the scene of a three car smash on the A737 this morning.
Officers attended at the incident, close to Linwood, shortly before 9am.
Traffic Scotland say the northbound carriageway was partially blocked to vehicles for a time but has fully reopened.
A spokesman for Police Scotland added: "Around 8.50am this morning officers were called to a report of a road crash involving three cars on the A737 near Linwood.
"Police and Ambulance attended and the vehicles were recovered."
