Police called as flock of sheep set off Ring video doorbells and CCTV censors in Leeds street at 2am

Leeds residents found some unexpected visitors outside their homes in the early hours of the morning.

Countless sheep triggered motion sensors on CCTV and a Ring video doorbells in a street near Kippax at 2am yesterday morning - leaving residents rather surprised. Footage shows the unique guests grazing on people's lawns before wandering off down the street.

Police also responded to try and herd the visitors away. Residents described their pleasant surprise and disbelief at waking to see so many sheep running down the street near Kippax, in the east of the city.

They went on to described how within minutes, they're completely gone, as they moved on down the street.

When asked if they manage to get back off to sleep, the answer was obvious. They counted sheep.
