Police called after man's body discovered in residential Bulwell street

Police were called to a residential street in Bulwell on Sunday morning, July 11, following reports the body of a man had been found.

Residents in the Rock Street area of the town reported seeing police in the area shortly after 7am today.

Nottinghamshire Police have this morning confirmed they were called to the scene and a spokesperson said that an investigation is currently taking place in the street.

Detective Sergeant Nigel Malik said: “We were called at 7.30 am today to a report that a man had died having collapsed in Rock Street, Bulwell.

“The man's death is not currently being treated as suspicious.

“We are carrying out enquiries and ask that anyone with information call us on 101 quoting incident 196 of 11 July.

“His family has been informed and are being supported by officers.”
