Two "wedding crashers" disturbed a reception at a popular Nottingham city centre bar.

Police were called to the Via Fossa bar in Canal Street on Saturday night (Feb 8) to reports of antisocial behaviour from the two people.

A Nottinghamshire Police spokesman said: "Police were called to Via Fossa in Canal Street at 10.43pm on Saturday, February 10 to reports of antisocial behaviour.

"There were reports that two people were said to have gatecrashed a wedding but left when police arrived."

Police added that there were no reports of any injuries and no arrests made following the incident.

The Greene King owned venue also serves food and canal side views from its beer garden.
