Police called after crash between two vehicles in Stapleford

Officers have been called to a crash involving two vehicles in Stapleford.

The incident happened at around 10.05am this morning (July 4) in Darkey Lane in Stapleford.

Nottinghamshire Police confirmed the road has been partially blocked on the junction of Toton Lane and Darkey Lane.

There has been no reports of any injuries.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area.

Asply Police tweeted: "Broxtowe's PC Parkes has attended a road traffic collision in Stapleford today.

"One party was driving without insurance or a licence. Take care when driving around Nottingham today.

"Luckily nobody was injured. PC Parkes helped the owner of the house to tidy up the debris ready to be taken away."

Independent Councillor for Stapleford, Richard MacRae posted the picture along with the caption: "Please avoid Toton Lane and New Eaton Road junction due to ongoing incident."
