Police called after body of man found in Liverpool house

A man has been found dead in Dingle.

Police confirmed the body of the 61-year-old man was found at an address in Turner Close.

A Merseyside Police spokesman said police were called to the man's home in Alfred Stocks Court on Friday morning.

He was today named as Alec Patterson.

The police spokesman added: "His death is not being treated as suspicious."

Police are now appealing for help in tracing his next of kin.
