Police call for public help to find missing teenager

ACT Policing have renewed calls to locate a missing teenage girl.

Amara Hynes, 14, has not been seen or heard from since 5pm Saturday at Jerrabomberra. It is believed she has since travelled into the ACT.

Police would like to reassure Amara that she is not in any trouble.

She is described as being of small build; Caucasian in appearance; approximately 165cm (5'5") tall; with long, dark brown hair; and brown eyes. Amara was wearing a grey hooded jumper, light blue jeans with torn knees and black Nike TN shoes.

Police are seeking to locate Amara as they are concerned for her safety.

Anyone who may have any information that could assist police in locating Amara is urged to contact ACT Policing Operations on 131 444 and quote reference number 6593050.
